Toy Drive!!!

We are having a toy drive for Texas Family Initiative. TFI helps to place children with foster families and continuously provide training to potential and current foster parents. The toys that are donated will go to the foster children and families. Some toys will also be kept at the TFI office to entertain kids during the mandatory training sessions for foster parents. We will need toys that entertain children ranging from newborns to 17 year old’s. If you are interested, we will accept up to five toys for a total of 10 hours. You may not donate more than half of your assigned hours. Each toy must be individually packaged and in store packaging. I need a receipt and an one page report on why you chose the items you chose, who your target recipient is, what it was like shopping spending your own money on something to be donated. Lastly, I want you to do a bit of research on the foster care system. I need one full page, small font. Just like any other essay except no resource. I also will need the receipt. This Drive will end on November 9th. You are more than welcome to bring the toys on your jury duty or come see me anytime during my office hours (Mon- Fri, 1-5). Have any questions, call the office.
